The manual is, in other words, the rule book and information book. Here you'll find the rules-- or guidelines, whatever you want to call them-- of Phractured Reality. You'll also find information on the different races allowed, an introduction, a description about the city the role-play takes place in and a lot more. Be sure to read all of these threads when you join-- or maybe even before-- as they are all extremely important. We will know if you haven't read them or not, so beware.

Whenever something important comes up-- like something that needs to be done, any possible future positions that might need to be filled, or maybe even the next part of a plot being released-- the actual announcement will be placed within this board. All of the old ones can be found here also, in case you want to go over something we did in the past. Lastly, activity checks and character checks will also be done here.

If you are the owner of your own website and would like to find members, you are allowed to post advertisements here and here only. This board is also guest friendly, so no accounts should be made in order to advertise. There is also a sub-board here for becoming an affiliate-- different than advertising-- and you must follow the affiliation rules before your banner will be put up. Lastly, you can find a few things for advertising Phractured Reality.

All of the dead boards have to go somewhere to keep from cluttering up the site, right? Well here they are. Only Staff can reply to these threads, though everyone can view them. If you have a thread here that you'd like us to reopen, just PM one of the Staff members and we'll most likely move it out of the Graveyard and into the proper board for your use.

Just don't be rude; not everything will be changed, though Bear will try to meet everyone's expectations if she feels they make sense and have good reason.

Make a thread here and no Staff will delete your account for inactivity as long as you have a good reason. I will not go lightly on characters, so remember to keep the bios nicely written and literate. Mysterious characters are alright, but even then there should be enough description and things you see to write up a decent bio. You will leave your character here where it will await to be accepted by a Staff member.

| Leaving my Thoughts.
Ever wanted to have you character write a journal so you can keep track of their history? Maybe a section where you can keep up with family, friends and enemies? Just make a thread here. One per character. Basically these are here so you can keep up with your characters' lives and their relationships, weather those be good or bad ones.

| Downtown.
Downtown Nighttime City, probably one of the busiest places in the whole country 24/7. Most of the clubs, taverns, restaurants and shops can be found in this part of town and most things are open all day, everyday, because it brings great business. Restaurants range from fast-food places like McDonalds to dine-in fancy places, and everything inbetween like the well-known steakhouse Charcoal Grill. Oh and let's not forget the always-busy coffee houses. The clubs are always buzzing with music and flashing lights, and the occasional bouncer throwing out an unwanted guest. Ah, the life of downtown. To people who live in the run-down apartments here, this is the life. The main street, which runs right down the middle of this area, also brings a lot of tourists. Some like it, some hate it. It's just part of city-life.

| Eastside.
The Eastside of the city is where most of the traffic comes in and out, as it is near the only way onto the island where Nighttime City is located. This part also has the most usable beaches for swimming and stuff, along with many docks were people who can afford it put their boats. A few restaurants are also found here, mostly seafood though. One of the more popular being the Red Lobster. A lot of comercial fishing boats also go out into the ocean from these docks.

| Westside.
The ocean waves beat against a bluff here and not far away is the carnival which never leaves this area and runs all through Summer and part of Spring and Autumn. There is also a large park and a few bike trails that wind through the whole city. There are a few large hills that make for great sled hills during the winter months. There are a few restaurants and shops in this area, though nothing compared to Downtown.

| Northside.
To the north seems to be where most of the wealthy people live. The houses are significantly larger than anywhere else and everything seems to be well-cared for. The yards are larger, the homes spread decently apart. There are no eating places here, other than the Mall which is also the home to the only shops available in the northside. The Mall is open to everyone-- even tourists-- and is one of the top attractions as it is quite large, holding a lot stores inside its walls.

| Southside.
The southside seems to be the place of most crime and trouble, not to mention it also seems to be the attraction to the homeless. This is the area the police officers focus on the most-- well, at least the harsher, stricter, and meaner ones. Though despite years of trying to 'civilize' [as they call it] this part of Nighttime City, they have only made a small dent. There are a few run-down places to eat and the occasional shop, though nothing big.

| Decaying Farms.
Back on the main shore, off the island that Nighttime City resides on, is a section that has many old farms. The buildings are broken down and rotting, the crops long grown over. The occasional machine can even be found, left, to rot with the rest. Many of the spooky stories told in Nighttime City have their origins residing right here, in this length of farms. Few people even go here, except maybe a few daring teenagers.

| Hiding Shadows.
Not far from the Decaying Farms is a dark forest. The leaves overhead the tall trees are thick and let little sunshine penitraite them. This forest is also the subject to many ghost stories and the occasional group of 'foolish' teenagers will pitch a tent and spend the night to see if those tales are true.
